- The last WWE Home Video release, Rey Mysterio: Life of a Masked Man is currently only available to buy or rent on Vudu and Amazon Instant Video.
- WWEClassics.com is about to undergo a re-branding to WWEGreatestMatches.com and move to a new Flash based system, in order for it to work on a wider range of systems. They are also planning an app to work with Apple devices like iPads and iPhones, as well as on Android.
- In line with the upgrade for WWEClassics.com, WWE has also launched its own on demand service at WWE.com/PPV where live shows can be watched. Money in the Bank is available for $44.95, in addition to older archived events like Wrestlemania 27, Extreme Rules and Over the Limit 2011 at $19.95. That gives you unlimited access to watch the video for 24 hours.

Gotta 100% agree, $19.95 for 24 hours access is stupidly high and it has to be more of a test run..hopefully in time these prices will drop.. WWE’s digital prices are still very strange and often don’t add up, i.e when you have volume’s like the recent Savage or Rock releases which are nearly 3 to 4 times the price of a DVD.
Wow, you can rent for 24 hours older PPVs for more money than you can buy the DVDs? Yeah, that’s “amazing news” but not in the way you meant…
They should start releasing the classic stuff on PSN.
